Who is This For:
For all hospices, hospitals, nursing homes, synagogues,
or any facility or program created to care for the Jewish
terminally ill.
The National Institute For Jewish Hospice Training and
Accreditation Program is designed to inform and educate staff,
doctors, nurses, volunteers, social workers, and anyone involved
in the treatment and care of the Jewish terminally ill. |

All training is provided by
Rabbi Dr. Maurice Lamm and other renowned professionals.

Yearly Accreditation accomplishes
two objectives:
1. It affirms to the
public that those hospices that are accredited are aware and
capable of handling the needs of all Jewish patients, on the
entire spectrum of religious and ethnic observance.
2. It
trains the mostly non-Jewish health care specialists in a
variety of specialized areas, presented by Rabbi Dr. Maurice
Lamm, for four (4) consecutive hours plus supplemental
communal lectures.

| Yearly membership provides your hospice
with: |

1. Four-hour training session that
includes a yearly NIJH membership with the accreditation.
2. Referrals by NIJH to anyone needing a hospice in your
vicinity.
3. Ongoing consultations with Rabbi Dr. Lamm
for emergency situations.
4. Counseling and advising
staff in unprecedented Jewish ethical situations.
5. New
products and tapes made available to you at no extra charge. |
